Quality Inn Elyria

Excellent place with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and laundry facilities. I remember how the staff helped me return important documents I left behind. I definitely recommend it, and I'm coming back for Christmas!

Excellant breakfast

poor TV choices, toilet didn't flush correctly, smells in the hallways, loud bath fan, not enough storage drawers, AC unit loud, advertise a room safe but have to pay an additional $1.00 per day and there was no key to our safe,

The staff were personable, and went out of their way to make the best experience possible. The young woman working the breakfast counter (African-american, mid-twenties to mid-thirties) was a delight, and went so far as to actually cook the waffles for my daughters, unprompted,when the waffle iron was being problematic. The beds were immaculate - which to me is the most critical item in the room.

Some aspects of the property were threadbare - carpets in stairwells held together with tape and the like. The room could have used a deeper cleaning - there were tiny pieces of trash under the vanity and in the drawers. Nothing unsavory, just a bit used.

When told the Air Conditioning didn't work, the staff acted as if I was lying and did not even offer to reduce the price of the stay. Hope nobody else stays here and has to deal with such a hot room.

we have stayed here the past 5 summers when we are traveling. It is in dire need of updates---things in hotel and the room look tired and need desperately refreshing

Breakfast choices were good.

Requested non-smoking room and the smell of smoke in the room was awful.Tried to change room and nothing available. Had to go out and buy Febreeze. Carpets filthy and black mold in the bathroom. No one wanted to have a shower. Property was old and tired.

Desk clerk helped me find a more suitable hotel.

No elevator, and only 2nd floor rooms available. (I cannot take stairs.) I declined room offered. Now trying to charge me for "no show" after desk clerk zeroed out bill!

Price

Breakfast was microwave. Slow drains. Holes in bathroom and bedspread from smokers. Internet off and on but always slow and unsecured.

Convenient for the trip, good price.

Shower tub and fixtures were not in good shape, but rest of room was OK.

There were updated, reasonably priced rooms with a whirlpool. The location was magnificent and good, near highway;)))

Well, no swimming pool.

Location: the hotel was not far from various restaurants within a short distance, Elyria, Ohio, and the shores of Lake Erie. The queen room we stayed in was well-maintained with a whirlpool.

Well, Wi-Fi was bad.

The food was nasty, it had a weird smell in the hallway and not a lot of workout equipment...

They are pet friendly and the queen room was comfortable for our family. Plus, breakfast options were decent.

The location was good for my purpose however it was difficult to get around the area with all of the road construction.

The staff was not very friendly

I was charged $1 A DAY for the safe!!! Can you imagine!!! A nickel and dime charge that is offensive, if you ask me. I have never before been charged to use the in-room safe!
